Make it harder for thieves to reach the basement by including barrier methods on the outside of your home. Thieves will think twice of crawling through thorny rosebushes or cacti plants. Don’t try to use trees or tall bushes as a barrier method, because thieves are likely to use them to hide behind.

Remember that your basement needs to be secured just as much as any other room of your home. Protect every area of your home. Your family and home security will depend on it.
